This is my entry for the first Project Quilting challenge, Square in a Square. My block is entitled, “How Many Squares?” puzzle block inspired by the viral Facebook phenomenon of the same name. Do you know how many squares are in this block (not including the border or binding)?
I’ve been working with a lot of solids lately and Tula Pink inspired my favorite colour palette; orange, turquoise and coral. The block itself measures 12″ x 12″ however with a border and binding, measures 16.5″ x 16.5″
That’s got some pizzazz!!
LOL! Yup, that’s what I was aiming for! ;D

Your block qualifies!
That’s exactly what it’s for, check out my previous post (it mentions YOU!)!
I love this! What a great block — will you also submit it for 100 Blocks magazine? I’d love to test sew this one!
Wow, thanks so much! How do I submit for 100 Blocks magazine??
I counted 39 squares. I like this block, but I also liked your first one too.
You are very, very close, just 1 block off!
I just went back and looked and I do like your second one better. I really like solids AND prints mixed together. More striking colors too.

Bingo, you got it right!!
