Kwik Sew 3620
I did it, I created my own blouse this weekend and I love it! After I completed all the seams I threw it into the laundry and hung it up for a few hours before hand sewing the hem. Esther at Whitby Fabrics
recommended hemming every garment by hand, this will set your garment apart from store bought, foreign made clothing. I thought about what she said and although this may make your clothing appear “hand made”, I realized there’s absolutely nothing wrong with this and will wear it with pride!
The cotton is Solid Kona, Daffodil by Robert Kaufman (5oz per yard) from Tonic Living and it’s stiffer than I’d like but I didn’t expect it to tun out this well. (I took the photo before I hemmed it.)
I’m working on Kwik Sew 2777, a men’s shirt for “M” muslin test shirt. If it works out, I’ll be creating one is linen. So far, so good!
I love my Sapphire 850!
