FabricLand Canada currently has a special on Butterick patterns, anything in stock for $3.99, here’s what I picked up:
Butterick 5465 Misses’ Tunic: Loose-fitting, pullover tunics have front darts and side slits. I’ll use the linen for this but blue or oatmeal, I’m not sure. No, I won’t be gluing gems on it, that is definitely not my bag!
Next up is a cute little number, 5501, Misses’ Vest, Top, Dress AND Pants! Close-fitting, A-line above mid-knee length or below mid-calf length. I plan to make the dress, hemming it to knee length, the tunic and the pants. I can do without the vest, it’s just not my thing.
Butterick B5354 is a sweet little top for stretch knits, quick and easy and depending on the fabric, great for work or casual wear. I plan to make the short sleeve version, View C.
Lastly is Butterick 4685, a cute little summer pullover with sleeve and neck variations.
The Selfish Seamstress would easily passover these quick and easy garments I’ve chosen but who gives a feck, these are for me, not her and I just don’t have her skillz yet. A girl’s gotta start somewhere.
