Paleo Diet

After New Year’s, M and I are going to start the Paleo Diet… What does that have to do with sewing you ask? Well, many people loose over 20lbs in the first MONTH, that means I’m going to need a new wardrobe!! This means digging up old clothes (I weighed  115lbs when I met M almost 10 years ago and I still have some clothes) and shopping for a) patterns, b) fabric and c) clothes not home sewn.

M and I gave up caffeine last February so that won’t be a problem, we’ve completely given up booze before so that’s not a problem… The biggest surrender will be bread and grains including rice. Did you know peanuts were a legume? That’s right, it’s in the bean family and therefore off the list of things we can eat.

We’ll be taking before pictures and though this will not be a diet blog, I will be mentioning my weight and size as I (hopefully) progress!

I’ll confess right here and now that I’m a sewing pattern size 20, RTW 14 and 5’5″. Perhaps after I’ve lost a significant amount of weight, I’ll share my starting weight *eeek!*.
