This morning I started on M’s coat, I had unpicked the top stitching on the back for a second time, the stitches weren’t even. I realized that I had an extra walking foot from my old Babylock Crafter’s Choice which would fit my Brother HE-240. After playing with the tension, voila, beautiful even top stitching! Once again, Brother comes to the rescue.
My Father bought my Mother an Emerald 118, nothing fancy, a mechanical machine. She stuggles using it and doesn’t understand why she has to change needles and tension. Wow, she’s been sewing for over 20 years on a Kenmore, how did she not know this??? She wants to return the machine to the dealer, should I recommend the Brother HE-240?
