Hexie Progress

I have no idea what I’m going to do with it once it’s all sewn together but I like it.  Maybe a table mat…

It could be a block in a larger quilt… I plan to quilt it by hand. Tomorrow I’m off to Your #1 Sewing Centre in Campbellford where I bought my Janome coverstitch machine, hope they have some good fabrics!

  1. Every time I see hexies, I know that I was not blessed with the patience to make them, but you sure are! It’s looking good, and I love the fabrics you’re using.

    • Thanks P! What takes longer than actually making the hexies is sewing them together! I don’t know if I’m doing it right, I’ve watched the videos but I can see the stitching from the front. I considered sewing them together using a zig zag stitch on machine but since I’d already had so many done, I dropped that idea.
