Plans changed, DH dropped me off at the local sewing/quilting shop in Campbellford yesterday morning while he had a list to fulfill himself. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a number of designer fabrics in store, most recognizable were the Dr. Seuss prints from Michael Miller. What was the cutest, IMO, was a no name apple print
Starting with the red on red stripe:
- Robert Kaufman Dr. Seuss flannels (2 clockwise)
- Nutex Apple Basket (top)
- Nicey Jane Hop Dot (light turquoise)
- Metro Living (grey circles)
- Amy Butler Midwest Modern
- Happy! by Me & My Sister
- Celebrate Seuss black and white
I also picked up a few sewing notions including Guterman hand sewing thread, quilting & embroidery needles & floss, a dresden template and a big bottle of Best Press since I don’t have my steam iron here at the cottage.
I wanted to share my hexie progress but couldn’t find clothes pins to hang it up in the window I have 4 more rows to sew on.
Tomorrow is going to be brutally hot so we’re heading home to do some laundry and check on the cats.
