Off to Germany

This Dresden Plate table runner if off to Germany tomorrow, for my Mother-in-Law’s birthday. It’ll arrive about a week late, I hope she doesn’t mind. Her livingroom is painted pink and Moda’s Dogwood Trail fabric reminded me of her.

The backing fabric is from Kitty Yoshida’s City Girl and the binding is Joel Dewberry. I used stabilizer for the Kona yellow centres and they’re a bit stiff, I hope they soften up in the wash!

  1. Great job, Tabatha! It’s got both a modern and traditional feel. I’m sure your mother-in-law will love it. I hope you link it up with TGIFF! this Friday!

    • A-ha, you noticed that and I didn’t even mention it! πŸ˜‰ I took the project to Quebec with me for Thanksgiving and had all the hand sewing finished by the time we returned home.

  2. Hi Tabatha, back for another looksie. Noticed the hand stitching this time around — great even stitches. Beautiful! Thanks for linking up to TGIFF!
