Although there are twenty tiny 1 & 1/2 inch squares in this block, I enjoyed stitching it together and am really pleased with the way it turned out. I like the contrast between fabrics and colours.
The Ohio Star is next on the list which I’ll work on this evening but for now, I’m going to start on an iPad cover for myself and Mother-in-Law using this tutorial from the Polka Dot Chair and was thinking of mixing a little Flea Market Fancy with Hideaway.
Have a great Saturday!
Great blocks, Tabatha! It will be fun to see what you do with this projects!
Thanks MR, ultimately It’ll become a quilt, this will be my summer project when I can’t be at the sewing machine. I expect it’ll be finished in about 2 years or so. ;D
Those squares are sooooo tiny! You must have a lot of patience 🙂 Great block.
It’s funny, the blocks are tiny when you’re using a sewing machine but not when you’re hand sewing! I’m really enjoying this project!
I really love the fabric you are using in your blocks! They look so pretty.
Erin, thanks for stopping by, I’m honored! I’m just working on the Ohio Star block now and have that crazy Bear Paw cut out, marked and ready to go! I’ve never made these blocks before, perfect for someone who like variety!
Wow, those squares are itty-bitty. Your hand pieced FW blocks are looking awesome.
Thanks P! I like to sew them up while watching tv with the hubs. I feel so unproductive when just sitting there on the sofa not doing anything, especially if we’re watching HIS shows! ;D
