Quilt: All Grown Up

I am loving this quilt, I purchased the pattern from Green Fairy Quilts and used Denyse Schmidt’s Chicopee and Robert Kaufman Essex linen in natural. I have two more rows to add and a border.

I’ve been watching Angela Walters videos all day, dreaming of when I get my short arm Grace Start-Right quilt frame and Juki TL-2000Qi!

Can’t believe it’s Wednesday already!

  1. Tabatha, this is gorgeous. I didn’t think I liked the colors in Chicopee until I saw your quilt. The Essex linen sets them off beautifully. And I love your photo location – very pretty 🙂

    • Thanks so much! I agree, until I saw projects made with Chicopee, I wasn’t sure but mash all the prints and colours together and it’s a whole new love! That’s the partition between our living room and entry.

  2. Okay so I had to go and check out the Grace quilt frame. I have been thinking of purchasing the Juki but didn’t know you could use a quilt frame with it. How does that work? Thanks, I appreciate your response 🙂

    • Hi Tessa, it works just like a longarm machine except you can use one of the recommended regular sewing machines. The difference is that it can’t reach any further than the arm of your chosen machine. Check out Kathy Quilt and The Grace Company as well as YouTube for more information in my previous post.
